Doug Still is owner of This Old Tree Consulting and host of the This Old Tree podcast. He was formerly the City Forester for Providence. Doug has an MS in Forest Resources from Penn State University, and has 29 years of experience creating tree canopy and teaching tree identification to various audiences. He is also an avid hiker and adores exploring the wonderful forests of Rhode Island.
Greg Gerritt is a long time environmental activist and nature lover. A Forestry school dropout, Greg lived in the woods in Maine for a number of years, and since moving to Rhode Island 28 years ago has become a leading environmental voice on policy and a nature observer and videographer responsible for starting the RI Nature Video Festival. The Watershed Steward for the Moshassuck River, Greg has also led nature walks for the North Burial Ground, the Blackstone Valley Tourism Council, and the Blackstone Park Conservancy.
